World of Final Fantasy Maxima TGS 2018 Trailer
The Tokyo Game Show is going on now and we can expect some game announcements and new trailers to be shown. Square Enix has already shown a few new trailers, including another look at World of Final Fantasy Maxima! Check the new trailer out below and then please come back for my thoughts on it.
I really like the look of World of Final Fantasy. The bigger characters look like the human characters from Kingdom Hearts, meanwhile the smaller characters look like older Final Fantasy games in 3D!
The monster stacking in this game looks bizarre and intriguing at the same time. I like the look of the world in this game and the battle system.
One of the things in this new trailer that stood out to me was the fishing mini-game! You can go fishing with Noctis, the main character of Final Fantasy 15. Thats pretty cool.
World of Final Fantasy will also include new mirages (monsters) and the ability to play as classic Final Fantasy characters in battle!! I’m especially excited about that second thing. Squall (FF8), Yuna (FF10), and Lightning (FF13) were teased in this trailer.
I have never played World of Final Fantasy before so I’m very excited for both the new and old content. I can’t wait to play this game on the Nintendo Switch!
