More Thoughts From Me #135: You Have More Questions
I asked for questions and you guys delivered! So this weeks More Thoughts is your questions and my answers. Lets get to it!
The first question comes from @JPSwitchmania on twitter:
“I have a question! Do you think there will be more Smash reveals and if so, who are you hoping to see?”
Answer: I do think there will be more Smash reveals. As for who I want to see, I’m still hoping against hope for Crash Bandicoot. I don’t think it’ll happen but it would be cool. I’d also like to see Rayman or a Rabbid. I wouldn’t be suprised by another Smash reveal in a September Nintendo Direct.
The next question comes from Shaun Edwards, @twinworld:
” What are you looking forward to the most about Nintendo’s Online Service launching in September?”
Answer: I’m looking forward to the retro games the most. I know we’ve played all or most of them on other systems, but its going to be great to have them on the Switch. Plus, the added online features for the retro games will be a great bonus!
The Alex, @Alex_Everatt, asks my favorite question this time:
” We’re both Animal Crossing fans, so here’s my question: what is your ideal Animal Crossing on Switch? What content should be included from past games? What kind of new content should show up?”
Answer: My ideal Animal Crossing for the Switch would include the best of New Leaf: being mayor, projects, the camp, amiibo cards, etc and also include stuff from Happy Designer: more customization for your character, designing houses, putting stuff in animals lawns.
As for new content, I’d like the first player to have the option to not be mayor and either another character in town could be or Tortimer could be the mayor again. You could be the mayor if you want or could be a Happy Home Designer or another job. I’d like the town to be bigger, with lawns for each animal and more shops in the shopping area and in town. I would even like to see a shop left open for the player to create their own shop!
I have a lot of ideas. Do I think Nintendo will actually do any of this? Well, I do think they’ll keep the mayor job for players and maybe the camp and amiibo cards. Other than that, I fully expect Nintendo will do whatever else they want to do. And even if it includes none of my ideas here, I’ll love it anyway. This is my favorite Nintendo franchise.
And our last question comes from GamesReviews.com’s Editor-in-chief Adam Roffel:
“What would it take in Pokémon games for your interest to be perked, and you give it a shot?!”
Answer: I’m not sure what would get me interested in Pokémon. I’ve tried demos of it, free-to-play games, etc and didn’t like it. I enjoyed Pokken Tournament. So maybe if the regular series was more like a fighting game? A side-scrolling beat ’em up? I love jrpgs, but I just can’t get into Pokémon’s brand of jrpg. So I guess I’d enjoy it more if it wasn’t like it currently is. Maybe I should just stay away from Pokémon. lol
And thats all folks! Great questions. Thanks to everyone who provided them. Hope you enjoyed the answers. Please let me know if you all want to me to do this again sometime!
Next week: Metal Slimes
