Mercenaries Saga 3 Will Head West This December

Mercenaries Saga 2 was one of the best tactical rpgs released on the 3DS eshop awhile back. The game reminded me a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics, while having its own unique story and battles too. I liked the game a bunch and hoped right away that there would be a Mercenaries Saga 3. The other day, I saw that Japan would be getting such a game next month. And today, Circle announced that Mercenaries Saga 3 would head west this December!

According to Circle Entertainment, we should expect Mercenaries Saga 3 to come to the west in early December. Here’s what Circle said on twitter about the game:

”   Let us expect MS3 western ver. on Q4(probably early of Dec). Includes DE, AU & NZ regions. Game contains new contents. Hope you like it. ”

Graphics and battle system wise, Mercenaries Saga 3 looks a lot like the last game, but it definitely features a new cast of characters and a new storyline! Since the job system part of the video is in Japanese, I have no idea whether or not there will be new jobs in the game. I really hope so though. I loved the second game and I’m very excited for this new one! Its great that someone is continuing in the footsteps of Square’s Final Fantasy Tactics (especially since it looks like we won’t see another one from Square).

I can’t wait to see the first English trailer for this game. Actually, I’m just wishing it was December already! Thank you to Circle Entertainment for helping to bring this game (and many other cool rpgs) to the 3DS eshop.
