Loot Wear
This is the second month we have received the Loot Wear package from Loot Crate. Last months wearable were pretty awesome, so we expect more of the same from August’s Anti-Hero bag!
For Her: Harley Quinn Setup
If you are a fan of Harley Quinn, and if you enjoy mini skirts and socks, this months Loot Wear would have been perfect for you. The Harley Quinn mini skirt was initially mistake for a pair of boxer shorts, as the material you would find in either was very similar. I asked my wife what she thought: although she wasn’t a big Harley Quinn fan, she thought the skirt itself was a pretty comfy “around the house” type of item.
The socks feel like run-of-the-mill socks, but they definitely are not cheap. These will hold up over various wears and multiple washes with no problems. For me, the socks are a very ‘his-and-hers’ type of item: they are the perfect match for the skirt, but wouldn’t be out of place, especially if worn alongside a nice suit!
TShirts Galore!
Not really, but I wasn’t sure whatelse to title this section. We got two tshirts in this months Loot Wear, and I think both are pretty great. For fantasy and World of Warcraft fans, we have a Sylvanas Windrunner tshirt. Usually, I’m not a fan of graphics on black shirts, but something about this one is very appealing to me!
The other shirt in this months Loot Wear was an Archer, mid-sleeve tshirt. The design on this shirt is phenomenal, and I would wear it out and about a ton if it wasn’t for one, slightly small, problem. This shirt is pretty thin, and the second I put it on, my wife’s first reaction was, “That’s see through.”
I guess I can wear it around the house, every day of every week. It is that great of a design!
Socks
Outside of the great Harley Quinn socks, this months box also came with Punisher socks. Unfortunately, I only wear socks with pants, and since the Punisher logo is near the top of the socks, everyone is just going to assume I’m wearing average, grey socks.
Ideally, Loot Wear offers more socks like the Harley Quinn pair form this month, or even the Mega Man socks from last month. I personally think they are way more appealing.
Conclusion
This months box was OK – not great, not bad. The design on the Archer tshirt is phenomenal, but since it is so thin, I won’t be able to wear it out of the house much (except perhaps under a zip up hoodie).
The socks were great and bad all at the same time: Harley was great, Punisher was bad. Regardless, people will like them both, for various reasons. Overall, this months Loot Wear gets a solid 7/10 hammers!
