G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout – Official Reveal Trailer
G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One on October 13! The game is now available for pre-order. Check out the game’s launch trailer and then come back here for some thoughts on the game.
G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout actually looks really good!
It should be noted that I was a big fan of the G.I. Joe comics and cartoon as a kid. The preview for this game speaks a lot to my nostalgia for the comic and the cartoon.
I love how the cutscenes are like a comic book. Also the animation for characters looks a lot like the cartoon. I’m pretty sure that the characters and environments are a bit cel-shaded.
G.I. Joe is a third person action game which looks to include a single player mode and multiplayer modes. I saw a split screen mode in the trailer. I hope this game includes online multiplayer too but I’m unsure.
G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout is a budget title though. It is listed for $39.99 on the Nintendo Switch eshop (its also available for pre-order). So its unclear how big the game is and if it has online multiplayer.
All I know is that the game looks very cool. I really hope its an awesome game!
