Earthlock: Festival of Magic is coming to the Wii U soon
Earthlock: Festival of Magic is a role playing game I’ve had my eye on for awhile now. I was hoping it would still come to Wii U, but with a lot of companies switching over to Nintendo’s newest console, I wasn’t sure! Today, Snowcastle Games announced that Earthlock is still on the way for Wii U and will be coming out this week in Europe and hopefully next week in the U.S. We have more details below.
Earthlock: Festival of Magic is a turn-based rpg that will be releasing on the Wii U. It is already out for other systems, including PC.
On Earthlock’s Kickstarter page today, the developer said this about the Wii U version:
“We are very happy to announce that we have passed certification and the game is scheduled for Wii U launch on:
- Thursday, Sept 7th (EU territory)
- Thursday, Sept 14th (USA – expected but not certain)
We had some snags with the US version, though still in the certification process, the title has been approved and moved on to release preparations as we speak. If everything go as planned (and we don’t see any issues with the delivery as is at this point) the US version should be visible and ready for download on the 14th September. ”
Snowcastle Games also teased a Nintendo Switch version of the game, but had no official announcement for that version yet.
Here is how the game is described:
“Enter a beautiful world haunted by its fateful past and join a party of unlikely heroes on their journey to rescue Amon’s uncle from an ancient cult and uncover the secret of the Earthkey.”
Earthlock: Festival of Magic looks really good. I like the look of the game’s graphics and turn-based battle system. I plan to review this game for GamesReviews.com, so please keep an eye out for that and more about Earthlock and other rpgs.
