Kirby’s Dream Buffet Brings Multiplayer Sweetness to the Switch This Month
Kirby’s Dream Buffet is coming to the Nintendo Switch this month! Check out the overview trailer below and then come back for additional information plus our thoughts on the game.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet will release on August 17th for the Nintendo Switch. The game will cost $14.99 and it can be pre-ordered right now on the eshop. It is a multiplayer focused game, with off-line and online support. Two-players can play on the same system or via local wireless with other systems. And the online mode supports four players!
The game looks like a lot of fun. The graphics are very colorful and there are three modes: Race, mini-game, and Battle Royale. The objective seems to be the same across all three modes: get the most strawberries in order to get the biggest Kirby.
The rewards for winning are wonderful. Outfits for Kirby, along with stickers and new stages are unlocked with the more strawberries you get. The outfits are basically hats that Kirby can wear. There are many different kinds and they all look neat. The stickers are nice too and it looks like you can place them on the starting area in game.
So far, all of the stages shown have been neat. The gameplay reminds us a bit of Super Monkey Ball, with a round Kirby that rolls through areas that he might be able to fall off of. Be careful Kirby!
Kirby’s Dream Buffet looks like it’ll be a must own game for fans of Kirby and multiplayer fun. Will you be checking it out on August 17th?
