Disney Magic Kingdoms: Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, and Christopher Robins
One of the largest updates ever has descended on Disney Magic Kingdoms, brining along new characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, and the always enjoyable Christopher Robins. This major update is not only brining new characters, but new attractions and lands as well. We have all the patch notes below, as well as some of our early thoughts on the new event running right now.
As always, we are playing Disney Magic Kingdoms on our Google Pixel 2, provided to us by Google Canada. The Pixel 2 is a great multimedia phone with two front facing speakers for an optimum audio experience, whether playing games, watching movies, or listening to music! Read our review here.
That is right! A new event has also begun, and Maleficent is back and more menacing than ever. Like with the last update, players will send characters out to defeat Maleficent, and earn her currency which can then be used to unlock new – and previously available – characters. First up to unlock Christopher Robins is obtaining 25 backpack tokens for 200 Maleficent tokens each. I cannot wait to add this character to my Winnie the Pooh collection!
This new event will involved characters from the Mickey and Friends, Toy Story, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast sets. For those who missed out on some of these characters before, there will be opportunities to unlock and earn The Beast, Happy, and Rabbit.
While the Christopher Robins event with Maleficent is a timed event – 15 days and 2 hours to go! – the other new content is permanent and will be unlocked as players complete the main story lines.
