Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Ends Soon

Today it was announced that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will be shutting down later this year. We have the details below along with some thoughts on the app.

Even though Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will shut down soon, its a good thing that they’ll make a paid offline version that fans will be able to continue to play. Yes, that means no more updates. Hey, New Horizons fans know all about that. sigh. But at least the game isn’t totally going away like a lot of mobile games.

We’ll get more details about the paid Pocket Camp soon. I would absolutely love if that version ended up on the Nintendo Switch too. I doubt it though.

I’ve never played Pocket Camp but I’ve admired the amazing content thats come to the game. I’m a huge New Horizons fan and wish that many of the Pocket Camp items had also come to NH. Sadly, that never happened. I’m sure that Nintendo is already working on the next Animal Crossing for the next Nintendo system.
