A New Catventure for Switch: Cat Quest 3 Thoughts

Arrr. Are you ready for a new Catventure? Cat Quest 3 is out for the Nintendo Switch right now. How is the game on the Switch? Let’s talk about it!

In Cat Quest 3, you play as a pirate cat who sails the high seas, explores dungeons, blows up ships and enemies alike and finds plenty of loot in the process. I’ve been playing the game on the Nintendo Switch and have some thoughts on it.

Sailing around in Cat Quest 3 is pretty simple. In fact, the game seems very simple control wise. Cat Quest 3 is an action game, with button presses for attacking and magic. You press one button for shooting from your boat. The game is totally addictive though.

There are plenty of save points in Cat Quest 3. You can easily find a save on the world map or in dungeons, save, quit and then go back to where you left out later. The world of Cat Quest 3 looks like its on a literal map, with names of the sea and land on the ground.

The world looks hand made for the Switch: a perfect portable world where you can explore and have fun. The characters and the story are just as charming as the game’s world. Cat Quest 3 plays very well on the Switch. Its just a wonderful game.

I’m not reviewing Cat Quest 3 but if I was, I’d give it a very high score. Cat Quest 3 is such a fun, addictive game. I’m having a blast.
