Witcher 3 Gwent Will Be Playable At Gamescom
For those enthralled by the Witcher 3 Gwent card game, you have the chance to play the standalone title if you are at Gamescom this year. Visitors can attend booth B-053 in Hall 8 to try their luck at the stand alone title which many, MANY people are looking forward to when it launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Here is more from Marcin Momot, Senior Social Media and Community Coordinator:
“GWENT was made because of the amazing effort of The Witcher community — we’ve received tons and tons of messages to make a standalone version happen and now we finally have the chance to show GWENT to the public for the first time! Gamescom is one of those special events that allows us to thank gamers for their support in person. So we’d love to have a chat with you in Cologne, hear your thoughts about GWENT and get direct feedback on how the game plays for you.”
If you happen to be in Cologne Germany between August 17th and 19th, be sure to check this out and be one of the first to play the standalone Gwent title. Unsure of what Gwent is? Developer CD Projekt Red helped us out with this short description,
“In GWENT, gamers clash with their friends in fast-paced duels that combine bluffing, on-the-fly decision making and careful deck construction. The game is played over a best-of-three series of rounds, as players unleash their hand by slinging spells and diverse units with special abilities and use clever tricks to deceive their opponents.”
