Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct (Video)

Today’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct gave us even more information about the game! Check out the Direct below and then come back here for some thoughts on what we saw.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct today gave us a ton of information about the game. For instance, for the first we saw the game’s towns, aka Colonies! These are the places where you’ll shop for items, talk to NPCs and more.

We also saw a lot about the game’s story and characters. That all looked very interesting!

The battle system was shown off more too and we got a rundown of the game’s Class system. The jobs in this game look great. You can learn different arts in the jobs.  And you can even recruit heroes into your group as a seventh member of your already massive group. Some characters can also interlink (join together) as Ouroboros and become a new form. These Ouroboros can be leveled up too! The Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s combat system/job system is pretty deep.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is such a huge game. Guess what though? Its going to be even bigger over time! Nintendo announced a paid expansion pass during the Direct. Throughout 2022 and 2023 more will be added to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 such as items, challenge battles, and finally a brand new story scenario. The expansion pass will cost $29.99 (USD).

Whew. So much was shown off during this Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct. The game looks amazing! It will release for the Nintendo Switch on July 29th. Are you looking forward to it? What did you think of the Direct?
