Nintendo Direct Announced for 6/18

Its finally happening! Nintendo has announced a Direct for June 18, 2024. That’s tomorrow! Check out the info and some speculation below.

A Nintendo Direct has been announced for June 18th, 2024 at 9am central. Hey, thats tomorrow! The Direct will be roughly 40 minutes and focus on Nintendo Switch games. There will be no news about the next Switch system.

Well, we knew that the Direct would focus on Switch games, but what will they show? We’re not sure but we can tell you what they likely WON’T show. Those games are Earthbound, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, and Mario Kart. Earthbound because they never mention it and the others because its way too early for the next games in those series. We likely won’t see them till Switch 2.

The third party games for this Direct are, perhaps, more predictable. We should see Epic Mickey remake, the new Fantasy Life, something from Microsoft, Lego Horizon Adventures, and others. As usual, it won’t just be Nintendo games. It also won’t just be Nintendo and third parties. There will likely be some indies too. Maybe we’ll see more of Steamworld Heist?
