More Thoughts From Me: What an Amazing Nintendo Direct

Oh my goodness. Now that was a Nintendo Direct!! Let’s talk about it.

Wow! I can’t believe how amazing that Nintendo Direct was. It was the best Direct we’ve had in….. awhile for sure.

Let’s start at the start: a brand new Mario and Luigi game! Oh wow. I wasn’t expecting that. It looked wonderful too. I can’t wait to play that.

There were plenty other surprises too. Denpa Men is returning. I never would’ve thought that. Its going to be a free-to-play game next month. And Romancing Saga 2 is going a full remake. I didn’t expect it to look that amazing.

A new Phantom Brave was announced too. I don’t think I’ve ever played the first game, but I’m excited to play the second one.

Oh and finally Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D was shown. It looks fantastic. Not only that but the first one and second one are going to be remade too. DQ3 was definitely my favorite game of the show.

Though, second favorite? It was absolutely the new Zelda game. Yes, there’s going to be a new Zelda game is in the style of Link’s Awakening. You play as Zelda though for the first time, no Link, and can copy items and enemies to help you out. It just looks incredible.

We also got an announcement of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD for next year. Thats a really fun game.

I’m sure a lot of people will focus on Metroid Prime 4. It was announced 2025, which likely means it’ll be a cross-gen title with the Switch 2.

There were other cool, if less surprising titles. Fantasian was rumored to be coming to the Switch and it turned out to be true. The game is coming this year and it looks really good.

Funko Fusion is a game I think I saw mention. I never thought that I’d think it would look neat though. Hello Kitty is another game that I think has already been mentioned or maybe it was out in Japan already. It looked neat too.

I also thought that they’d show some Nintendo Switch Online games and they did. My favorite was Metroid Zero Mission. Though I’m looking forward to playing Turok and Perfect Dark!

Overall, this was a jaw-dropping Nintendo Direct. If you didn’t this, I honestly don’t know what to tell you. I was just on the edge of my seat. I loved almost every moment (expect for Just Dance). There are so many games here that I can’t wait to play!
