Gearbox and 2K Wonderlands Further Highlights Hollywood and Games Coming Together
Wonderlands looks like a unique action adventure experience. The development team have said this will have major Borderlands vibes, and therefore, expect a looter shooter. While you will definitely get those Borderlands vibes from Wonderlands, it is actually it’s own unique experience that looks to build on the Borderlands franchise.
What this really highlighted for me, was the continued push to meld the worlds of Hollywood with the world of video games. For so long, these two spaces were incredibly separate, with random Hollywood actors crossing over from time-to-time to voice characters in big franchises. But for whatever reason, this one hit home for me on how much these two worlds have collided. With the likes of Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, and Will Arnett, this title is going to be one to check out when it launches!
