Darius Cozmic Collection Console Review

Darius is a classic 2D space shooter. Its been on everything from the Sega Mega Drive to the SNES to the PC Engine. And the brand new Darius Cozmic Collection Console has nine versions of it! I checked the collection out and now want to share with you my review!

Darius Cozmic Collection Console has nine versions of Darius! The games are pretty similar to each other gameplay wise with only a few minor differences. The biggest difference in some are the graphics. Starting out with the Mega Drive, the collection gives you Darius at its most basic looking (which still looks pretty good) all the way to the PC Engine which looks fantastic.

I couldn’t help but love the inclusion of the SNES games. That was what I grew up with!

If you like 2D space shooters, you can’t go wrong with any of the Darius games. They are still so classic.

Best of all? The Darius Cozmic Collection Console gives you options for each game: you can change button layouts, screen size, and more. There are special modes for a lot of the games and you can save replays.

Overall, Darius Cozmic Collection Console is fun. Its highly recommended if you are Darius fan. Though even if you like old school 2D space shooters and you’ve never played these games, you are in for a treat!
