Many Switch Games Available This Weekend

If you are looking for something to play this weekend, there are no shortage of new titles coming to the Nintendo Switch. While things are dominated by collections released by Take Two, Nintendo is also serving up one of their bigger titles this year in Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition! Here are a few releases you can get excited about!

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Our Review)

Nintendo hasn’t announced a ton of games coming to the Nintendo Switch for 2020, but one of the better titles is definitly going to be Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. Originally released on the Nintendo Wii – in the twighlight days of that system – and re-released on the Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo Switch version of the game is definitely the one to get. If you’ve never played a Xenoblade Chronicles in the past, this is a fairly easy JRP to get into, and promises dozens upon dozens of hours of game play.

Even if you have played this title before, revisiting it on the Nintendo Switch is a must. In a year with minimal Switch releases, you need to jump on the ones that do come up! But if you pass on this, you can always snag Clubhouse 51 next week!

2K Supporting the Nintendo Switch

Yesterday, we posted an article about how the support from 2K on the Nintendo Switch this week is amazing, with three collections launching all on the same day: Xcom, Borderlands, and Bioshock. You can read that entire article here!

While you can pick up these complete collections – either digitally on the eShop or physically via your local retailer – one of the best things I’ve learned this week is that, at least for Borderlands and BioShock, players can purchase parts of the collection individually on the eShop. Only want to play the original Borderlands? You can snag that on the eShop for 29.99 CAD, instead of spending 59.99 on the entire package (which, ultimately, is the better deal if you want it all)!
