The Colonists Lands Soon on Console

If you enjoy relaxing city building titles, you were probably a little disappointed when The Colonists launched on PC but was not available for Xbox or PlayStation. That is all about t change soon, as the Colonists will be launching on console this May! What can you expect to see in this rerelease on console? Let’s take a look!

From the development team, you can see what has changed below:

Help these cute robots build their dream settlement in The Colonists. Each bot has a job to fulfil, from harvesting crops and fishing at the lake, to transporting resources and discovering distant lands. Help them work together to achieve automated harmony.

• Harvest: Gather Resources like wood, iron, stone, fish, and lots more

• Refine: Turn resources into useful items, like bread, bricks, and planks

• Build: Create homes, farms, and factories for your bots to live in and work on

• Research: Advance technologies from steam trains to space rockets

• Expand: Increase the complexity as you chase productivity zen

Play through 14 missions in Campaign mode, chill out in Sandbox Mode, or try Challenge Trophies if you’re an expert colony builder.

Here’s what we’ve changed for console

• New controls: Re-designed controls help gameplay feel natural and fun on consoles

• Controller optimized UI: A re-imagined user interface is more accessible for all players

• New robot hats: cute little touches here and there including some adorable new robot hats
