More Thoughts From Me: The Best Star Wars Game Ever

Last Tuesday, I bought Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker. I’ve been playing it a ton since then. I still have a lot more to do but even so, I’m already calling it. This is the best Star Wars game ever!

We’ve seen a lot of Star Wars games. Some of them are good and many of them are bad. Previously, I would have told you that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was the best Star Wars game ever. It is still a really good game. One of the best we’ve ever seen from the Star Wars franchise in fact. But a new game has taken the crown for best Star Wars game…

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the best Star Wars game ever.

I know what you’re thinking! A Lego game? Best Star Wars game? Don’t you mean best Lego game? Well, its that too. However, it is also the best Star Wars game.

Huh? How is that possible you ask? Well, if you’re asking that then you haven’t played yet. I don’t want to spoil too much but I think I can say a few things…

In Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, you have nine movies at your fingertips. From Phantom Menace to Rise of Skywalker, this game lets you experience all the important moments in the saga. Yes, there is humor. Yes, the characters and environments are made out of Lego. And you know what else is here?

Huge open areas to explore, tons of characters to unlock, tons of ships to unlock, space exploration and combat, great voice acting, all the Star Wars music you’d expect…

The Skywalker Saga is an ambitious game because it takes everything you love about Star Wars and then adds its own humor, tons of easter eggs and references, and did I mention how it lets you play through the worlds of all nine films?

Honestly, if this game was only the original trilogy, it would be the best Star Wars game ever.

I’ve played my way through the original trilogy. It was amazing. The Empire Strikes Back levels were especially jaw dropping. To being on Hoth and taking part in space battles and of course that epic Luke/Darth Vader fight. It was all done so well. A New Hope and Return of the Jedi were also really good. And then I played through The Phantom Menace. Just wait until you see podracing and that Darth Maul fight. Ohmygosh. The Force Awakens was really good too. Next up for me: Attack of the Clones!

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a great Lego game. And Star Wars fans should not pass it up. It is a love letter to the Star Wars films. If you call yourself a Star Wars fan, then this game must be in your collection.
