Final Fantasy X/X-2 Arrive on the Nintendo Switch Tomorrow
Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch tomorrow!
Final Fantasy X is the only game I’ve gone to a “midnight release” for. Well, technically it was around nine at night but by the time I got home, it was past midnight. I remember wanting to stay up late and play this game.
There are so many memories I have of this game on the PS2. Playing the demo, playing the actual game, the soundtrack (that metal intro), the turn-based combat, the sphere grid and more.
I wasn’t as big a fan of the second game, however I thought that the job system was really unique. You could change your job while in battle! This feature added another layer of strategy to fights and looked awesome.
Both of these games are well worth playing. If you’ve never played them before, you are in for a treat! If you want to play them again, well, I can’t think of a better place than the Switch.
