Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition Arrives in the Nintendo Switch Universe on April 15th

The Nintendo Switch is getting a few simulation games in April 2021 and here’s another one that should be added to the list: Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition. Take a look the trailer below and then come back here for some thoughts on the game.

Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 15th, 2021.

The game is from the developer of Summer in Mara. Like that sim, you’ll be able to farm and craft in Deiland. However Deiland’s setting is totally different. The game is set on a small planet that you take care of! The sci-fi angle adds a very interesting take on the life sim genre. It looks like you’ll be encountering spaceships that visit your planet, other creatures, and perhaps even visiting other planets yourself!

I really like Deiland’s graphical style. The gameplay looks fun too. The fishing mini-game especially caught my eye but I liked the look of farming and item placement. Visiting other planets should be fun too. And hey, is that a space pirate?! Deiland: Pocket Planet has a lot of potential.

Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition is coming out in a month with other big simulation game releases: Cozy Grove and Castaway Paradise. Simulation genre game fans have three very good looking games to keep an eye out for.
