Death Road To Canada Postponed in Light of Toronto Attack
Yesterday was a heartbreaking day for the people of Toronto, and across the entire country, as a man used a rented van to drive down a sidewalk, killing 10 people and injuring 15 others. It’s hard to talk about video games, or even get excited about video games when stuff like this happens, and one company agrees. UKIYO Publishing, the team behind Death Road to Canada, have opted to postpone their games release on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch in light of the events.
Here is the statement from the publishers:
We feel it would be deeply inappropriate to launch the game at such a time,” said Paul Hann, Managing Director of Ukiyo Publishing. “We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the tragic events in Toronto.
Here is the game synopsis:
Control a car full of jerks as they explore cities, recruit weird people, rescue dogs, argue with each other, and face gigantic swarms of slow zombies. Randomly generated for a new story and rare events every time you play!
As per the ask from the publishing company, our review of Death Road to Canada will not be posted until a new release date is announced by the company.
