Nintendo Direct Announced For the Switch 1
Next Wednesday (4/2), Nintendo will have a Direct focused on their new system, the Switch 2. However tomorrow, March 27th, there will be a Direct focused on the original Nintendo Switch!
A Nintendo Direct for the original Switch has been announced. The Direct will take place on March 27th, tomorrow, at 9am central and last around 30 minutes. It will focus only Switch 1 games. The Switch 2 will not be mentioned during this presentation.
Now that Xenoblade Chronicles X has come out, there are no other dates for Switch 1 games. We know that Metroid Prime 4 is coming out this year for the system and the next Pokémon game too. Its likely that we’ll see both those games, along with at least one more game from Nintendo and some third party and indie games.
Its likely that this will be the last Nintendo Direct that focuses only on the original Switch. We’re hoping that its a great Direct and has plenty for surprises.
Next week we’ll be getting the Switch 2 Direct. We can only hope that this is a one-two punch from Nintendo: two great Directs one week after the other. We’ll see!
