Nindies Showcase 3.20.18
Nintendo of America had an Indie (Nindie) showcase today. You can check that video out below and then please come back for my impressions of it.
Today’s Nindie Showcase was not very good.
There were no major surprises like Fornite or even a release date for Wargroove. None of the previously mentioned indie games from other showcases were mentioned at all. The video was also very short.
Now, I’m not saying that there were no interesting games at all in the showcase. Personally I thought Fantasy Strike, Banner Saga 3, The Messenger, and Podeo all looked good. Bomb Chicken and West of Nothing could potentially be good games too.
Overall though, the showcase felt very thrown together and one has to wonder why Nintendo of America even bothered. We all know there are bigger indies that are coming to the Nintendo eshop. Why didn’t we get more of focus on those games?
I have faith in the Nintendo Switch eshop. I know we’ll see some amazing games coming to it. I’m just not sure why Nintendo decided to focus on these games…
