More Thoughts From Me: The Return of Tomodachi?!

Today’s Nintendo Direct was…well…it wasn’t great. I was a little disappointed overall. There were a few great announcements though and one announcement that I freaked out about! I’m talking about the return of Tomodachi!! I have to talk about this.

On the 3DS, I played the heck out of Tomodachi Life. The weird Mii sim was just absolutely crazy and I loved it. You created Miis and then put them into an apartment. After that you could give them gifts, have them sing, get married, have kids, and more. It was so very weird.

And today Nintendo announced that we’ll get a new Tomodachi life next year! Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream will be out in 2026 and…I need it now. Why are you making us wait Nintendo? I WANT IT NOW.

Okay. I’m calm down. Sorry. A new Tomodachi Life game is huge for me though. I can’t wait to create new Miis and it looks like we get a bigger more 3D island with shops and possibly little houses for our Miis. It looks incredible.

Why do we have to wait till 2026? Why are you doing this to me Nintendo?!

Sorry. Sorry. This is, for me, the next best thing to getting a new Animal Crossing or DLC for New Horizons. Its not on the AC level hype for me but pretty close. I was such a huge fan of the 3DS games. I actually want to go play it now and see what my Mis are up to. They’ve probably burned the island down by now…

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream comes out in 2026. Its going to be on the Nintendo Switch 1. So yes, banish your thoughts on a Switch 2 only society for awhile folks. We will be getting Switch 1/2 games for a little bit at least. I’m so happy.
