Remember that awesome TMNT game Shredder’s Revenge?! The same developer and publisher has a brand new 2D brawler on the way: Marvel Cosmic Invasion! Check out the announcement trailer along with our thoughts.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is coming this year, 2025. No release date has been announced for the game yet.
The game is a 2D side-scrolling brawler much like Shredder’s Revenge and the other amazing 2D beat ’em ups that some of us grew up with. Cosmic Invasion looks pretty cool too. Captain America, Spider-man, Wolverine, Storm, Nova, Captain Marvel, Venom, and possibly more are in this game. The artwork looks beautiful. I loved the intro animation and then the game’s graphics too.
2D beat ’em ups are so nostalgic for me. I was such a huge fan of them as a kid. I still have my copy of Maximum Carnage for the SNES. Its the red cart. sigh. I love the 90s.
Thank you Tribute and DOTEMU for bringing back this style of game. I can’t wait to play this one!
