Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale Ventures Onto Nintendo Switch in April
Earthbound. Undertale. Other rpgs I don’t recall. What do they have in common? They are rpgs that don’t take themselves too seriously. They have the rpg battle systems and lots of humor and weirdness. In April, Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale come to the Nintendo Switch and adds another game to the comedic rpg genre.
Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 8th, 2021.
On the Nintendo Switch eshop the game is described as a “sarcastic and darkly comedic RPG about facing your inner demons.”
The game has an Undertale look and vibe to it, with maybe a splash of Earthbound. The battle system looks like a very unique real time combat system.
I think I’m especially excited about the “charming town full of arcades, clubs, burger joins, and overrated coffee shops”. There are “Over 100 memorable characters to interact with” too. Oh yeah. Sign me up!
I love rpgs. The more rpgs, the better. Welcome to the Nintendo Switch Don’t Give Up.
