Persona 3 Reload First Impressions
Persona 3 Reload came out on Friday and I’ve been playing it over the weekend. Here are my first impressions of the game.
Persona 3 Reload is fantastic so far. The story is pretty intriguing: there is a mysterious hour called The Dark Hour that starts at midnight. During that time, most people turn into coffins and monsters roam the land. Also a tower pops up where normally there’s a school. A group called S.E.E.S. combats the monsters and wants to go into the tower to see if they can find out whats going on. You play a new person who joins the group. And like other Persona games, you and your group can use Personas and weapons to combat the monsters.
I’m really liking this story. Persona 3 Reload is a lot darker than previous games in the series. Its also a bit more mysterious. Though the combat and exploring the tower are even more addictive. Much like Persona 4, you enter into a place that is different every time you visit it. The random dungeons mean when you visit floors you’ve been to before they will be different and new treasures and monsters on them. The combat is pretty much what we’ve seen in Persona 4 and 5. Its very stylish, especially the menus, and quick paced turn-based combat. I love it.
I’m pretty addicted to Persona 3 Reload. I can’t wait to see where the story goes but I also just want to keep exploring its dungeon, finding treasures, leveling up my characters, and seeing what new and weird monsters lay around the next corner. If you liked Persona 4 and Persona 5, then you’ll like this game too. Also if you have gamepass and you love those games, then you should be playing this one. I’m so happy that I have gamepass and I can play this game!
