Nintendo Direct Announced For 2/8/2023
Its finally happened! Nintendo has announced a Direct for 2/8/2023. Hey, thats tomorrow! Check out the information we have so far and our thoughts on it.
A brand new Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow at 4:00pm central. It will “mostly” focus on Nintendo Switch games that release in the first half of this year!
So what games should we expect at the Direct? Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a sure thing. Also Kirby Return to Dreamland, which releases this month, and Bayonetta Origins Cereza and the Lost Demon, which releases next month, will definitely be there too. Advance Wars 1 + 2 is a maybe. Octopath Traveler 2 comes out this month from Square Enix and will likely get a new trailer too.
The Direct is going to be “roughly” 40 minutes long though. So we’ll likely see plenty of surprises too. Based on previous Directs, we should see some surprises from Square Enix (FF Tactics and Dragon Quest 3 HD?!) and perhaps other developers. Will we finally see a release date for Midnight Suns on the Switch? Possibly! There may be some indie games at the Direct too.
