New SteamWorld Build Gameplay

Yesterday, IGN showed off a little bit more of Steamworld Build, the upcoming new Steamworld game from Thunderful Games. Take a look at the footage than come back here for our thoughts on it.

Steamworld Build is coming out for the Nintendo Switch and other systems this year! When the game was revealed, my jaw dropped. I wasn’t expecting this type of game out of the Steamworld franchise. I love that Thunderful Games is willing to experiment with the Steamworld games.

Steamworld Build is giving off major Sim City vibes during the town construction phase. The mining is something else. Gathering resources and also having to protect minors from underground creatures. Whoa.

I’m so looking forward to this game. Steamworld Build launches in late 2023. No specific date yet, but we’ll let you know when we know! Stay tuned to GamesReviews.com for even more on Steamworld Build!
