Dangerous Driving 2 Coming in 2020
A sequel to last year’s Burnout-inspired Dangerous Driving is officially on the way, according to a press release from developer Three Fields Entertainment.
Dangerous Driving 2 is set for release on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in Holiday 2020.
The arcade racer will include a “dynamic open world,” allowing players to compete against AI opponents or cruise in freedrive mode. Like its predecessor, there is a heavy emphasis on the game’s crash mechanics and the propensity for causing multi-vehicle pileups. Dangerous Driving 2 will include solo, local split-screen and online multiplayer.
It will build “on the innovations we as game makers are passionate about,” said Alex Ward, Founder and Creative Director of Three Fields Entertainment, in a press release. “Including interactive music and emergent game modes, as well as addressing the areas we weren’t happy with in the last game.”
Dangerous Driving 2 will be on display during PAX East in Boston from Feb. 27 through March 1. Fans will be able to go hands-on with the game, including a “first look” at the Nintendo Switch version.
