Bravely Default II – A Brave New Battle Trailer
Bravely Default 2 is coming out later this month for the Nintendo Switch. Check out this new trailer from Nintendo about the game’s battle system!
Bravely Default 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 26th, 2021.
The battle system in Bravely Default is very strategic. As mentioned in the trailer, the Brave option does allow you to use multiple actions quickly. This is risky during boss battles though. I know when I was playing the Bravely Default 2 demo and trying to use Brave a lot, it wasn’t working. I would often forget to use the Default option. This video is a very good reminder that the battles in Bravely Default 2 are not easy, especially the boss ones, and you have to think carefully about when its time to go all out and when you should be using your defense. Hmm. Maybe I should go back to the demo and see what I could do with that Default option…
Fans of games like Octopath Traveler and classic turn-based jrpgs should keep an eye on Bravely Default 2. The game looks like its going to offer a really fun, sometimes challenging jrpg experience!
