Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX Announced for Nintendo Switch

Along with the newly revealed expansion passes for Pokemon Shield/Shield, a new game called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX was announced for Nintendo Switch in today’s Pokémon Direct. We have the details below.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is a remake of the Gameboy/DS titles. The game will be coming out on March 6th and be a full priced game at $59.99 (US). It can be pre-purchased from the Nintendo Switch eshop.

There is also a demo for the game available. Your progress in the demo will transfer to the full game.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is a spinoff of the regular Pokemon series. It does not feature turn-based combat like the mainline series. Instead the player will take a control of Pokemon and move them throughout dungeons. The Pokemon will auto-attack any enemies they come across. Its up to the player to navigate the dungeons and pick up and use any objects they find.

This game has been completely remade in 3D and has a really nice watercolor look to it.
