Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Overview Trailer

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be out this Friday (1/28). Nintendo released a new overview trailer for it! Take a look at that below and then come back here for some thoughts on the newest look at the game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be out this Friday! And I have to admit…I’m very hyped for it!

The newest trailer shows off a big world for Arceus and the exploration, combat, and more involved. We get a really good look at the camp site where you stay, the town, and some of the places where you’ll find Pokémon. Plus hints to where the story might go.

The game’s graphics looks really good in my opinion. The human characters and Pokémon are especially well designed and the environments look pretty good for the most part. There were some areas, like the town and frozen places, that looked better than some of the grasslands. Though, we won’t know for sure just how good this game looks until we see it on the Switch itself!

The gameplay looks familiar and not familiar. You catch Pokémon like the other games, but the creatures are much more aggressive in this game. Some of them will actually attack you before you get into battle. It looks like the player will have to use a bit more strategy to catch the Pokémon in this game! The battle system also changes up things with movement in battle and two types of fighting styles for the Pokémon.

Arceus is looking good. Its a new type of Pokémon game, so of course there will be people who love it and people who wish it was just like the other games.  We’ll see very soon how people react to Pokémon Legends Arceus!
