In a press release from Warner Brothers Interactive, we have learned that the inevitable Game of the Year Edition for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be heading to shelves soon for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you haven't play Shadow of Mordor before, now would be an excellent time to jump in and give it a try!

"Toys, toys, I love toys" was a five word chant I would say as I marched around the house with my one and a half year old son because of all of the toys he had accumulated. I am very much to blame for it as I collected all of them and then his interest grew even more the older he got. As we continued to collect Disney Infinity toys he would continue to keep up the chant and march around the house.

After a short and unexpected delay, the second book of the game Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey was released this March. Book One: Reborn, released back in October of last year was the first release for the series after an 8 year break during which the game’s creator Ragnar Tornquist reached out to Kickstarter to get support in making the third game in the franchise. I've just recently begun getting back into the point and click adventure game genre. I plowed through King's Quest 5, 6, and 7, and the Monkey Island series. I was about to jump into another franchise when I saw a tweet from Evolve PR our of BC, Canada. It read along the lines of: "If you are not playing The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 you should be." So I did. If you have fond memories of 90s point and click heyday, you will find lots of love in this awesome title from the people over at KING Art Games.

If you haven't played an Oddworld game at some point in your lifetime, you are definitely missing out. Fortunately, the Original Abe's Odyssey was remastered and rereleased on Xbox One just this past week. For only a fraction the cost of a triple A title, gamers can relive and old classic in stunning HD when they play Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty!

Ori and the Blind Forest is one of the best games I have ever played...ever. Not only is the audio and visuals outstanding, but the story off the top is really gripping, making you want to play through the whole thing to see what happens to the beautiful forest that once existed.

If you've been anticipating the latest Fable release and have been saving your pennies, you can now stop. Microsoft and Lion Head Studios announced late last week that Fable Legends will now be free-to-play. While there is no real reason given for this change in philosophy, one can only suspect that perhaps, the Fable franchise has lost it's 'must buy' reputation.

People have attempted to clone the Legend of Zelda franchise for years. Some have had success doing so, while most have not. The developers behind Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom have done an excellent job cloning the classic franchise, and although it has its own issues, its still an adequate top down adventure title that is worth your time.

The second episode of Telltale's take on Game of Thrones feels a little too much like a second beginning, but shows that things are soon going to start heating up. Despite more appearances from HBO's incredible cast, it's the developing stories of its original characters that hold your attention this time around.

Grim Fandango is one of the classic adventure games. That's why it deserved more than this lazy remaster.
