Plants Vs Zombies 2 Coming to Android This Fall

The Plants Vs Zombies 2 Facebook page has been updated with some new graphics, graphics which confirm Plants Vs Zombies 2 will be available to download from Google Play in Autumn of this year. 

You didn’t think you’d be waiting long did you?

For a short while, Plants Vs Zombies 2 was an iOS exclusive, and most posts about the game at Facebook ended up just turning into people asking when it’d be coming to Android devices. Today they’ve announced that you won’t have to wait very long. No specific date just yet, but expect that to be announced over the next few weeks.

Of course, the comments on the Android announcement are now largely made up of people asking for a PC version.

Plants Vs Zombies 2 is an excellent game that retains the charm of the original while adding a rather successful free-to-play model that people seem to either love or hate. It encourages you to revisit levels with different rule sets if you wish to continue, although this forced journey towards 100% means you can’t progress as nicely as perhaps you can in other games.

Popcap are well known for their puzzle games, but they’re also pretty reliable in releasing their titles on every single platform going. It’s only a matter of time before Plants Vs Zombies 2 is available in multiple forms across multiple devices, and probably home consoles as well. For now though, enjoy that Android users are only a few months out from their trip through time.
