Diving into Hello Kitty Island Adventure

One of the coolest things I saw in the Hello Kitty Island Adventure trailers was that you could dive underwater and explore under the sea. And now I’ve finally gotten to try it out in the actual game! How is it? Let’s talk about diving in Hello Kitty Island Adventure for Nintendo Switch.

I continue to be totally addicted to Hello Kitty Island Adventure. There’s just so much to do in the game. One of the most recent things I acquired in the game is the ability to dive underwater. I won’t spoil how I got the ability but I do want to tell you how it works and what I think of it.

Once you can dive, you go swimming in the water in a deep area. Then you use the right analog stick to push down into the water. When you first start out diving, you have a very low stamina wheel which means you can only stay underwater a short time. You can eventually update your stamina wheel and you’ll be able to stay underwater longer.

Exploring underwater is tricky at first but also a lot of fun. There’s so much to see and do underwater. You’ll find new areas to visit and new items too! Diving is really incredible and its gets better as the game goes.

I got a preview of the future of diving when I visited a friend via multiplayer. I’ll talk about the multiplayer more in my next article but I will say that when you visit a friend, you get all of the abilities and tools that they have as long as you are in their town.

I don’t want to spoil what the upgrades to diving are but I will say that new abilities and tools will be unlocked to help you explore more underwater. I just got a brief taste of the upgrade but I loved it right away. I wish diving on Animal Crossing was this cool!
