Dice Throne’s New Game Kickstarter Is a Smash Success

Dice Throne, Inc. has announced the launch of their latest game: Dice Throne Outcasts. An intriguing game of dice, tactical card play, powerful heroes and unique abilities, Dice Throne has taken the board game world by storm with its approachable, hero-centric gameplay that draws in newcomers and experienced gamers alike. With Outcasts, Dice Throne explores the darker side of the hero’s journey with creepy characters and menacing mechanics.

This Kickstarter campain from Dice Throne has raised over 1.5 million dollars, an impressive feat for any game on crowd funding in our estimation.

Players can enjoy embodying four new horrific heroes with this game:

• Pale Lady, a petulant hero with cunning manipulations and the ability to transform into a savage foe with her terrifying Werewolf form
• Headless Horseman, who charges into battle with high-speed action and his Haunted Head
• Raveness, who fights opponents alongside her companion, the crow Nevermore with tormenting tactics
• Necromancer, who summons Skeletal Warriors, Skeletal Mages and Bone Golems in his nefarious gameplay. 

Along with Dice Throne Outcasts, the company has also announced their next expansion pack for Dice Throne Adventures Unchained. In this solo/co-op expansion, heroes will attempt to survive a selected mission by completing objectives, battling minions and ultimately facing an epic boss battle. Players can use the new one shot mode to play this expansion in a single session rather than committing to a campaign! The expansion can up gameplay time from about 30 minutes to as much as 75 minutes for those game enthusiasts looking for a longer play opportunity. 

To support the development of this game and keep fans updated on the progress of the game’s development, the company has launched a Kickstarter campaign where fans can get more information about Outcasts’ gameplay, heroes and exciting new features, and purchase their own copy in advance. The game is expected to be delivered to those who pledge by October 2025. Available pledges start at $50 for the 4-hero Outcasts game box and Outcasts promo pack, and include a $70 pledge for the addition of the Dice Throne Adventures Unchained expansion pack, with more options available. Also included in this launch is the announcement of Dice Throne’s new 4-Hero Strong Box, a convenient and organized way of storing a variety of your Dice Throne Heroes with a magnetic lid and 4 trays.
