Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem has been my favorite movie this year, even one of the few I went out to the theater to go see. TMNT had peaked in popularity prior in the late 80’s to early 90’s, I was the prime age demographic for who they wanted in a consumer. I had all of the figures, a massive collection, enjoyed the movies, all the games (even the tough as nails NES one) and yes, I even had the TMNT album they released…..yea go ahead and look up that nightmare fuel. As I got older the Ninja Turtles were almost always still around in different variations, reimagining, etc. But it never felt as good, until now.

Mutant Mayhem captured the true spirit of the old cartoon while focusing more on the fact that they are teenagers, coming to grips with life, who they are, and how they fit into that world. So seeing it back with such quality is awesome. But more importantly, I get to look at all the awesome toys and compare them to what I had back in the day. They have done some really great figures off of the movies as well as some other cool things.
