Two Point Campus Medical School DLC Review
Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus have been some go-to cozy gaming of mine for the past couple of years. Harking back to Theme Hospital back on the PC, where I also spent waaay too much time playing, the series has been a comfort food sort of gaming experience for me since then.
A brilliant mix of humour, simulation, and fun make it a good time had by all. Now Two Point Studios introduces its latest DLC instalment for Two Point Campus, Medical School. Which really just takes the best of both games and mashes them up together as you struggle to teach students with no experience how to cure Reptile Dysfunction. (No, that is not a typo).
Medical School brings three new campuses to the game with their own unique situations, struggles and challenges. Lake Tumble, Molten Rocks and Pointy Peaks will challenge you to take your rag-tag bunch of med school students and attempt to save the day, cure patients and of course continue to make enough money to keep your college open.
It’s a plot straight out of the hit TV sitcom Scrubs. This DLC adds in a unique set of challenges because as with the rest of the game you have to make sure it is capable of being a functioning school and attending to the needs of the students and faculty, but now you also have to be concerned with the care of your patients, so you will need plenty of room for all. You’ll build facilities, train students, deal with emergencies, extinguish fires and even bust ghosts if those treatment plans go south.
Medical School students will be able to learn on the job by seeing patients in six new treatment rooms: the Psychiatry, Head Clinic, and Surgery for doctors, and the Ward, Injection Room, and Thumping Therapy for nurses. There will also be the occasional medical emergency to deal with, which means you’ll need to build a helipad so patients can be flown in. The DLC is the 4th for Two Point Campus and at $9.99 it definitely adds even more challenge and charm to an already amazing game.
