The Redress of Mira
The Redress of Mira is an indie first/third person game where you control Mira, a character wandering around a fantasy world. Is this fantasy world interesting? What is the story? What is the gameplay? Here is our review of The Redress of Mira!
The Redress of Mira has a very vague story about a character named Mira who is in search of peace. The game starts with a poem and then sets the player out on their own to discover the story.
As far as the gameplay goes, The Redress of Mira is a first person game that occasionally shifts to third person when the player climbs or pushes something. The shift between first/third person is almost seamless. The game does go back and forth easily. The Redress of Mira’s controls are not bad, but the game has very stiff walking and running.
The player is on their own with the game’s puzzles. There really are no hints as to what you are supposed to do. The puzzles are just there and you have to figure it out. Some kind of hint system would’ve been nice. The Redress of Mira is just top vague with its story and puzzles. Its world is sometimes pretty but mostly its very dull looking and the world isn’t very interesting to explore.
Overall, The Redress of Mira is an okay game. Its not completely terrible, some of the environments look nice, but the lack of a hint system for puzzles and the vague story make this hard game to recommend. The Redress of Mira isn’t the worst game we’ve ever played, though its not as good as it could have been.
