Clunky Hero is an action platformer that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Should we take it seriously? Is it a fun game? Here is our review of Clunky Hero!
Armed with a bucket on his head and a broom, our hero strikes out on his own to save his wife! This is Clunky Hero’s story. Its a pretty simple story but the game’s dialogue is very funny. Clunky Hero is an odd, quirky game and that’s obvious in its gameplay and graphics too.
Clunky Hero is a action platformer that doesn’t take things seriously. The enemies are all odd looking: from bees with beer mugs to trolls with big noses, there are lot of odd visuals in this game. Still, it is a nice looking game. It basically looks like a parody of a fairy tale.
The enemies make weird sounds when they die and the gameplay is basic, but not to be taken lightly. Clunky Hero can be a hard game. Its not obvious where you save, so if you die, you could end up going all the way back to the beginning of the game!
Clunky Hero is a fun game but it is definitely a game that should have an auto-save as you go. Despite its weird saving, Clunky Hero is a good game. Its story and odd visuals combine with traditional action platforming to present an enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a new, unique action platformer to check out, you may want to check out Clunky Hero.
