Zorro: The Chronicles on Google Stadia
Well I enjoy playing the latest and greatest games on my Xbox Series X and my PlayStation 5 – an issue with my internet, not the Google Stadia service – there are a ton of experiences that I really do love playing on Google Stadia, one “type” of game in particular – quality, but yet lower budget titles! I have OK internet – 40 mbs down – and I can play most games on Google Stadia as long as the experience is not too demanding.
That is what makes games like Zorro: The Collection such a great experience on the platform. With a relatively low demand, the game runs extremely well, and is perfect for wasting away a few minutes here and there, no matter where I am.
And this has become more apartments as I begin working through renovations in my home. See, with the majority of my living space torn up, my Xbox Series X and my PlayStation 5 are put away, and most of the games I play on Google Stadia – or those other platforms really – are not available on my Nintendo Switch. That leaves just one place to play them, Google Stadia. And since I don’t need to have a box attached to my TV, I can play this anywhere I have access to the Google Stadia application, and if needed, a controller.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve played on my phone, my Hisense Canada Smart TV, and even at a few friends and families houses. The simplicity of logging into my account to access my games, and my cloud saves, is magnificent, and one of the features not enough people are talking abut. Sure, I can access cloud saves from a friends Xbox Series X as well, but what if they don’t have one? What about at my parent’s house, where I go at least once a week, but they have no consoles in the home. This is where Google stadia truly shines, and it’s a bright, bright light!
While many folks have ragged on Google and their cloud based service, I’ve become more impressed over time. The smoothness of Zorro on the platform is yet another reason why I love coming back time and time again. Shoot, when everything in my house is back in order, I will likely continue to come back to games like Zorro and play them again and again on the platform.
I’ve realized how much I enjoy Google Stadia, and I guess I can thank Zorro for that. Playing a game based on the Zorro television show has been really fun, and while the game might have a few issues here and there, it’s still a wacky experience that I enjoyed at the end of the day.
If you haven’t given Google Stadia a try in past, I suggest you do so now. It’s a great experience, and one you will really enjoy!
