Xbox Bethesda Showcase 2022
On Sunday June 12th, 2022 I was lucky enough to be invited for the Xbox Showcase 2022. Xbox had a 90 minute event in Toronto to show off several games coming out this year, and I was amazed at the amount of games coming to Game Pass. I arrived to the event and was greeted by some amazing staff for Xbox who checked me in to the event, my excitement began to grow. I entered the venue and saw so many faces in the gaming community were we got to mingle, share some food, and laughs. We were also treated to some amazing food while we waited for the event to start. It was a day full of surprises, excitement, and meeting new friends.
Lucky Charm doughnuts won my heart over at the event. They were so good I had to take a picture of them.
I even had a chance to meet the Legendary Master Chief from the Halo series. Master Chief was kind enough to pose for photographs.

Retro Game Remakes?
I was a little disappointed we didn’t see anything about Golden Eye Reloaded or a Banjo Kazooie, two of my favourite franchises. However, the crowd erupted in cheers when it was announced that Hideo Kojima is collaborating with Xbox Game Studios. For me personally I am really looking forward to A Plague Tale: Requiem, the first game was an absolute gem and I loved every minute of it. Starfield game play was shown and it was explained how massive the game is over 1,000 planets. Starfield looks extremely promising and I am hoping Bethesda delivers on this game.
X Tastic Time
Overall it was a great show I had an amazing time making new friends and seeing old ones. Xbox has really found their grove this generation I am excited for the future of gaming. Be sure to check out all the trailers of the games I mentioned. Happy gaming friends!
