Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will be coming out on January 14th, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
The game was originally supposed to come out this holiday. Its missing that release window but it’ll be worth the wait!
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, for those who don’t know, is about a young man named Scott Pilgrim who decides to date a girl named Ramona Flowers. Seems like it should be a simple thing right? Wrong!
Ramona has seven evil exs and they want Scott’s head. In order to date Ramona, Scott will have to defeat them all.
Sounds like a perfect video game concept right?
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World started life as a comic book. The comic had tons of video game references. And then came the movie, which also had lots of video game references.
When Scott Pilgrim became a game, it was no brainer. It had to be a 2D side scrolling brawler. Think Final Fight or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Arcade game. Scott Pilgrim beats up thugs and makes his way to the bosses. You can also play as other characters from the story such as Ramona herself!
The game is a lot of fun. And we don’t have too long to wait until the Complete Edition arrives!
