Xbox Games Showcase – Cannot Wait for Halo Infinite
It’s been a while since we got to jump into a brand new Halo experience, but we will be getting that opportunity soon when Halo Infinite launches. Two things struck me when watching the gameplay trailer. 1) This looks like more Halo; and 2) holy crap this looks fantastic.
Although I haven’t watched the trailer again in 4K via Xbox One X, even during the live showcase, you could tell that Halo was taking advantage of next generation technology to launch and incredible experience that all Xbox fans will want to get their hands on. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief is ready to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Begin anew and step inside the armor of humanity’s greatest hero to experience an epic adventure and finally explore the scale of the Halo ring itself.
Halo Infinite, according to the development team, 343, is the most ambitious Halo project ever, allowing players to explore new environments in the Halo universe. I was wondering what 343 could be cooking up for the next Halo installment, and when my wife walked in and said, “Hey that looks like Halo” I knew were were in familiar territory, that was being taken to new heights.
As the flagship franchise for Xbox, it’s important that Halo Infinite resonates with fans, and thankfully, anyone with Xbox Game Pass will be able to play Halo on day one. There really isn’t much stopping Halo fans from experiencing this new, epic experience.
It looks like we will get a ton of new info on Halo Infinite really soon, as various media outlets will be going hands on with the 30 minutes demo, beginning already tomorrow. A good friend who is the Editor at the Best Buy Canada blog, Jon Scarr, is taking the demo build for a spin – let him know on Twitter what questions you might want answered!
