Microsoft Releasing New Xbox 360… Today
Love the look of the Xbox One but are bummed out that you’ll have to wait until the end of the year until you can get it? Don’t worry about it, Microsoft have you covered. From today (or tomorrow/later in the week, presumably, depending on your location), you’ll be able to buy a brand new Xbox 360, made in the same design as the Xbox One.
That’s not all. It’s not just a visual thing, but the new Xbox 360 is smaller than its previous iterations, and quieter as well. That’s a great incentive for owners of the older Xbox 360’s to repurchase, as they sound something like an aeroplane taking off.
No word on how limited these consoles will be, if there’s anything else different about them or if there’s any other advantage to purchasing now, but Xbox owners that want uniformity in their TV cabinet will want to buy one sooner rather than later.
