Lord of the Rings: Gollum Video Game Announced
I’m a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies. They are so very great. However, there haven’t been too many good Lord of the Rings video games. The Lego LOTR games are not bad but overall, the Tolkien universe could use some more cool games. And now Lord the Rings: Gollum has been announced for 2021. What is this game about? Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been announced. The game will be coming in 2021. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the game will be released on PC and “all relevant console platforms at that time.” It will be developed by German video game developer Daedalic Entertainment.
LOTR: Gollum will take place after Gollum got the one ring but before the movies or novels. Carsten Fichtelmann of Daedalic Entertainment told The Hollywood Reporter that the game will feature decision making between “the Smeagol decisions or the Gollum decision” because Gollum is in conflict with himself at the time of the story.
The Hollywood Reporter article hints that there will be more Lord of the Rings games from the developer in the future, but gives no specifics.
The Gollum game will come out around the same time that Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV series will premiere.
