Nintendo Announces 3DS Family Releases for August and September
The 3DS family has had a great summer with big releases: Ever Oasis, Hey! Pikmin, Miitopia, and the New 2DS XL. But the summer fun doesn’t stop there! Today, Nintendo announced their releases for August and September. Let’s see what they’ll release!
The New 2DS XL is a cool looking system, but not everyone has enough money to get one. Perhaps, a regular 2DS is your speed? If so, you may want to hold off buying one right now. Why? Because next month (August) Nintendo will be releasing another 2DS, this time a red and white one, that’ll come with New Super Mario Bros 2! The system looks cool and New Super Mario Bros 2 is a good game.
But if you its just 3DS games you’re looking for, well, you’ll find three new ones releasing in September!
The big 3DS releases start with Monster Hunter Stories on September 8th! This new Monster Hunter game is different from the others. Monster Hunter Stories is a cel-shaded turn-based rpg. I love turn-based rpgs. Will I like this game? I’m not sure but I’ll find out on August 10 when Nintendo releases a demo of the game for the 3DS eshop. I’ll have my impressions of it as soon as possible here on GamesReviews.com.
The next exciting release for September is Metroid: Samus Returns, which comes out on September 15th. I really liked the original version of this game on the first Gameboy. The remake looks amazing. We are hoping to have a review of this game for you in September.
And finally YO-KAI Watch 2: Psychic Specters is coming out on September 29th! For more on this title, check out Adam Roffel’s article here.
August and September are going to be great for the Nintendo 3DS family. What are you picking up in those months?
