New Nintendo 3DS Coming to North America
A while back, the New 3DS XL came to North America and people were generally OK with that…but, where was the smaller, regular New Nintendo 3DS? The 3DS that you could get in the Super Famicom Controller button layout? The 3DS where you could swap the face plates for whatever you could possibly want? Well, that version never came out here, until now.
This September, the New Nintendo 3DS will launch in North America for the first time, sporting all the new upgrades that the current XL has, including the second stick – usually used for controlling the camera within the game – upgraded graphics processor, and more. However, no North Americans can enjoy Super Famicom Controller button layouts and swap-able face places, something that is bound to cost you many dollars that you don’t have for functionality that is non existent. But that is beside the point. The real point: New Nintendo 3DS will be available in North America.
As of right now, there does not appear to be a plain version of the 3DS available. It looks like the only way to get this New 3DS is to buy the Animal Crossing or (rumored) Zelda bundle 3DS.
